Those of you who have read my posts know how much that I like the web hosting providers Bluehost and Hostmonster.  I honestly think that these two hosts give users the most bang for their buck and I am always referring friends to these hosts.  Many people that I talk to about these hosts seem very interested but are concerned because they have a website with another host and don't want to lose any files.

If you are in the same shoes I think you will be very interested in knowing that switching web hosts is actually very easy thanks to Cpanel.  Hostmonster and Bluehost both use CPANEL (most do) and CPANEL has a "backup" option that allows you to backup entire websites, including databases.  Use this tool and create your site's backup, sign up for web hosting with Hostmonster or Bluehost, go to backup and click "restore backup"... This will upload all the files from your old host and you will be up and running again, with a better host .

This process is so easy with Cpanel... So there are no reasons to worry about switching hosts...
