Normally I try to avoid opinion pieces but I could not sit back and bite my tounge on this one. As you may have heard, today it was announced that the President and U.S. Government have “fired” the General Motors (GM) CEO.
I am not arguing that leadership change is a bad thing and yes it may ultimately help out GM; however, I have a major problem with our government interfearing with the private sector. This is the first time (in the history of the US) that the government has fired someone from a private industry and I am afraid that it is the start of a bad trend.
I am not going to get into too much details on what happened, if you want to learn more information I am sure there are plenty of articles out there.. I just say the the government stay out of private industry.
